I got tired of seeing people die of starvation due to factors such as race and economic status. A community facing discrimination might not have access to enough resources or food to live. The inability to afford nutritious meal of food may probe one to turn to rely on fast food which increases the number of people who are obese (but this is an issue to be discussed another time.) I was annoyed with the fact that resources are available but aren't used to solve this issue, and I also felt bad about having access to nutritious food that others may consider a luxury. Hence, Nourish Now was born to combat this issue.
